Currently, Patricia Malone-Robinson serves as Executive Director of Human Resources for Mansfield City Schools. She directs all functions of the Human Resource (HR) Department and additionally manages all state and federal programs involving the District’s Improving Teacher Quality Grant. The Improving Teacher Quality initiative provides certificated staff the opportunity to obtain financial assistance to participate in professional growth programs. Through Ms. Malone-Robinson’s efforts and leadership, Mansfield City Schools’ teachers are attaining Highly Qualified Teacher status according to the Ohio Department of Education standards.
Ms. Robinson is further responsible for assisting the District’s Executive Leadership Team by providing analysis and interpretation of employee-related data, conducting investigations of personnel matters, and developing trend projections on the basis of data. Ms. Malone-Robinson was instrumental in bringing the HR Department into the 21st century by encouraging and implementing technology supports for managing personnel data. Ms. Malone-Robinson has been recognized for her empowerment of employees, and for supporting an educational environment throughout all levels in the organization.
Patricia Malone-Robinson worked for the Ohio Department of Development for 17 years before she was recruited to direct the Human Resources Department at Mansfield City Schools. During her tenure at the Department of Development, she served as a State Community Development Analyst, and was responsible for 29 cities and counties in the Ohio North Regional area. She additionally was responsible for monitoring Community Block Grants; this work included grant overview and statutory compliance review related to labor, finance, and public participation Americans With Disability Act complaints.
Patricia Malone-Robinson is a Certified Business Analyst, and has demonstrated proficiency in the ability to assess and monitor business practices and compliance in the areas of Equal Opportunity Employment, diversity and grant overview. Under her certification, Ms. Malone-Robinson is authorized and trained to review a potential and existing business owner’s portfolio and review grants and contracts prior to submission.
Ms. Malone-Robinson holds a Masters of Science Degree in Administration (with a specified focus on Human Resources management) from Central Michigan University; a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Development, and an Associate of Arts Degree. She possesses additional certification in Equal Employment Opportunity and Human Resource Management.
